Painting 222 x 137 cm, March 5, 2015, is a  work that is part of the work of the Outrenoirs.

Outrenoir is a concept forged by the painter Pierre Soulages and which defines the most important part of his work.

The variation of the black curves of the canvas reinforces the feeling of rhythm generated by a work of opposition between smooth or streaked, matte or shiny textures.

The monumental verticality and the regularity of the matte / shiny, smooth / streaked, thickness / flatness, absorption / refraction of light oppositions allow to subtly reveal a large number of the possibilities of black light on the same pictorial space.
