Nicolas DESBONS

Nicolas Desbons is a locksmith and sculptor.  

His work is based on locksmithing. Cold metal work, assembly by welding or screwing), however, he also uses ironwork (forge work, when his creations require it).  

Combining traditional techniques, he nevertheless seeks to innovate and diverts codes to invent a new aesthetic.  

In order to enrich his pieces, he does not hesitate to combine materials and introduces fibreglass, glass and ceramics to metal.
