Michael AUDIARD
1951

Sculptor

Michel Audiard, an artist from Touraine appreciated worldwide, was born in Paris in 1951. After a period of study at the Beaux-arts, he painted portraits in Montparnasse and sculpted in many materials. In 1978, he stopped painting completely to devote himself only to sculpture. For him, lost wax is the royal road to sculpture, because every sculptor dreams of finalizing his works in bronze. He creates statues, furniture, jewels and, in 1995, realizes his first "Sculpture Pen". In 2005 he realized his first "Passage", a work in metal highlighting "the invisible, the transparency of the statuary". This is how, according to his imagination, unique works are born, or in limited series, from the most tiny to the gigantic. All works of art are created by hand and then shipped directly around the world.
